Shia LaBeouf says filming ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ was a dangerous experience.

The actor, who stars as Sam Witwicky in the second instalment of the warring robot saga, says the film’s battle scenes were created on an almost too realistic scale.

Shia, 22, said: “During filming I’ve got 75 military officers firing at me, shrapnel falling on my head that’s bigger than my arms. It’s hard to be normal.

“Even an eyelash flying at you at 700 miles an hour will cut you. You’re running past them, and your clearance is only about 10 feet. These dudes are moving, and if one trips or falls and we run into the muzzle of a blank, that could blow your chest open or burn you.” • Read full story…

“We looked at all movies released since January 2005 that earned more than $20 million at the U.S. box office (439 films in total). From there we tallied which actors had the most starring or significant supporting roles during that period. Ties were broken by cumulative box office totals”

Robert Pattinson could soon be stealing roles from Transformers star Shia LaBeouf.

It is thought that Shia is no longer hot enough and movie producers might choose to cast Twilight star Robert Pattinson instead.
Robert told the Big Issue: “It’s amusing to find myself in the same conversation as stars like Shia LaBeouf for a role in a Gladiator-style period film.

“I hope for the chance to play Jeff Buckley in the film of his life though I imagine the role will go to James Franco, because he looks so much like him.”
