I have so much to say about the new movie “Eagle Eye.” Trouble is, I can’t say much without spoiling major plot points.

What I can tell you is that, for the most part, “Eagle Eye” is a good film. But it could have been great.

“I don’t mind sitting in trash,” admits Michelle Monaghan as she greets us on the set of DJ Caruso’s new action thriller, Eagle Eye. Monaghan looks uncomfortable and cramped as she sits next to Shia LaBeouf on a refuse barge covered in lumpy bin liners and assorted debris – but it’s all in a day’s work for the rising starlet. “It’s prop garbage, so it’s not really dirty,” she laughs. “I just put my behind on a tyre and get on with it.”

Shia Labeouf is such a trooper on the set of the Transformers sequel , he refused to seek hospital help for a severe eyelid injury during a bomb blast stunt that went awry on Wednesday

The actor was shooting scenes at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico when he was injured - and he was more than happy to let base medics attend to his wounds.

One troop on the set tells WENN, “He was treated at the clinic at the airforce base by Colonel Torres and then a local ophthalmologist came by to check on his eye. He was in the clinic for about four hours and then he returned to the set once the swelling had gone down. Read Full Story »

What came first the chicken or the egg? Shia LaBeouf doesn’t care. His starring vehicle Eagle Eye came first on the weekend. The thriller earned a decent US $29 million, about $10 million more than expected.

That makes LaBeouf the newest box-office contender after a series of hits that he may or may not take full credit for. But the positive association sure will help his negotiations for future film projects.

So far, LaBeouf has been on an impressive movie run with a string of major smashes. In 2007, Disturbia pulled in a respectable $118 million world-wide, then Michael Bay’s Transformers scooped up $708 million. Read Full Story »

Being freed from DUI charges after he was involved in a car crash that happened in July 2008, Shia LaBeouf unfortunately couldn’t escape another injury, suffering a cut below his eyebrow while working on “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” on Tuesday, September 30. The injury required him to receive stitches, but that didn’t stop the actor from getting back on set soon thereafter.

TMZ was the first to report the incident. It claimed Shia got some stitches on set. Representative for him had no comment on the star’s latest injury. Read Full Story »

The occupants of the car Shia LaBeouf collided with in July have been charged with giving police false information.

The actor’s truck flipped twice after hitting a car driven by Simon Herbert in West Hollywood.

Herbert has since been blamed for the accident; police claim he ran a red light.

He and passenger Kimberly Bent have been charged with one count each of giving false information to a police officer. Read Full Story »

And after the success of this past weekend’s box office topper “Eagle Eye,” Shia LaBeouf’s appearance on the list was also fitting.

“Shia is genuine and very real,” his “Eagle Eye” director D.J. Caruso told MovieFone. “He’s the good looking guy next door, he’s your best friend next door, he’s a little bit of everything. He’s been blessed with that.”

Two people involved in an accident with actor Shia LaBeouf have been charged with giving false information.

Kimberly Bent, 21, told police she was driving at the time of the crash, but investigators suspect Herbert Simon, 22, was at the wheel.
