The year was 1989 and as Indiana Jones rode off into the Technicolor sunset, audiences everywhere assumed that “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” would, in fact, be the last crusade of Steven Spielberg’s adventure trilogy.
But on May 22, Indy and his fedora are back in “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”
The announcement last January has been cause for both celebration and hesitation in the film world.

Spielberg’s fear tactics silence LaBeouf

Indiana Jones’ Shia LaBeouf was terrified of leaking details about the forthcoming blockbuster after director Steven Spielberg sued a big-mouthed extra.
LaBeouf realised how serious Spielberg was about keeping production secrets, when he was first sent a script that was barcoded and watermarked to prevent duplication. He was also given a hotline number to call if he lost it.
The actor, who stars alongside Harrison Ford in ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’, also recalled the fate of 24-year-old Tyler Nelson, who was taken to court by Spielberg and his part reportedly cut from the film, after he leaked plot details in a newspaper interview.

Shia LaBeouf may be starring in one of this year’s most hotly-anticipated films but he still reportedly strikes out with women.
A source told the New York Post that the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star was spotted at the Beatrice Inn in New York recently and was “desperately seeking a lady … but none of the hipster hotties were standing for it.”
The onlooker reports Shia eventually turned to one woman and unsuccessfully asked: “How do I get a girl to go home with me?”

The story, by Burger and Dirk Wittenborn, follows a loser (LaBeouf) who gets his hands on a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that makes you smarter. The thriller is said to be in the vein of “Fight Club” and “The Game.”

If you use a computer, they can find you. If you drive a car, they can see you. If you have a cell phone, they can hear you.
Even if it’s off.
Welcome to George Orwell’s prophecies come true, at least on the set of “Eagle Eye,” where director D.J. Caruso showed MTV News that his new technological thriller isn’t all fiction.

Orlando Bloom and Shia LaBeouf Love New York

Orlando Bloom and Shia LaBeouf join a long list of actors and directors making an anthology feature entitled New York, I Love You. The project is a collection of 12 shorts filmed in each of the five boroughs of New York City.
New York, I Love You is inspired by the 2006 ensemble film, Paris, je t’aime, and hopes to pay tribute to the Big Apple in the same way the French filmmakers showed their affection for the City of Lights. Hopefully, no one will confuse the new movie with all the other upcoming motion pictures with “I Love You” in the title, such as I Love You, Beth Cooper starring Hayden Panettiere, I Love You, Man starring Jaime Pressly and I Love You, Phillip Morris starring Leslie Mann.

New KOTCS Trailer
Posted by admin on March 30th, 2008 | Comments (3)
A new TV spot is now online for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and it’s moderately superior to last month’s clunky teaser trailer. The “genius” line between Harrison Ford and a stiff-haired Shia LaBeouf has the kind of smart ass pop that the classic adventure franchise warrants. Also, notice that the scene most snarked at by fanboys in the original trailer, where Indiana Jones fell ass-first into the windshield of a moving vehicle and awkwardly punched out a goon, has been replaced, wisely, by a Steven Spielberg credit. Otherwise, nothing much new here.

Shia LaBeouf’s Crime Spree Continues

The law’s got a beef with LaBeouf. Say it out loud. Come on, it’s fun. According to TMZ, the man who may or may not be Indiana Jones’ offspring received a ticket on February 18 for unlawful smoking, a misdemeanor. But Shia’s unfortunate decision to light up on the sidewalk isn’t the end of his problems. The real issue is that the actor (and his legal counsel) apparently failed to show up for his court appearance this morning, meaning there’s now a $1,000 bench warrant out for his arrest.
This brings up a few questions. In no particular order, we’re wondering:
