Actor Shia LaBeouf has spoken about his arrest last year for refusing to leave a shop in Chicago, blaming the incident on “complete and utter insanity”.

“It was a mistake I’m still completely embarrassed about,” the Transformers star told UK movie magazine Empire.

“There are lessons in life I need to learn, and I’m learning all of them in front of the public,” he added.

Actor Shia LaBeouf is dreading the first review of ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’, because he fears critics will savage his performance and deem him unworthy of joining the action franchise.

The 21-year-old appears alongside veteran Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford in the forthcoming action/adventure movie, and admits he constantly felt intimidated by the fans’ expectations of the fourth sequel in the film series.

D.J. Caruso Says Shia’s Still His ‘Last Man’ For ‘Y’

He’s made a number of recent high-profile projects, including the upcoming “Eagle Eye” starring Shia LaBeouf, but not until he came across “Y: The Last Man,” did D.J. Caruso ever find a project that’s “everything in a movie I liked as a kid, and everything I’d like to make as a grown-up,” the director enthused.

There’s good reason for that, Caruso playfully admitted, explaining how growing up as the last man on Earth is, well, is a lot like growing up as a director.

Last Friday, “Indy” co-star Shia LaBeouf told me I’d missed the most important one of all.

“It’s awesome,” he enthused from the set of his new film, “Eagle Eye.” “I’m just as much a fan [of it] as you are.”

Almost certainly more so, of course, given that he’s, you know, actually starring in the movie. In fact, when I told him I watched the trailer close to fifty times last Thursday (shot by shot!), LaBeouf admitted that he couldn’t watch it more than once or twice, as it got him too “excited.”

Shia LaBeouf says Transformers 2 is “just massive”

Posted by admin on February 16th, 2008 | Comments (2)

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has claimed there’s more than meets the eye to the sequel of the action smash hit.

Though pre-production on the robot movie had been delayed by the Hollywood writers’ strike, director Michael Bay said recently he had conceived a story outline and with the end of industrial action in Tinseltown, scriptwriting can now begin.

And according to LaBeouf, the breathless set pieces of the first film in the franchise will pale in comparison to what Armageddon helmer Bay has planned for the follow-up.
